The DASO annual Obesity Meeting will take place the 14^th to the 15^th of November 2025 at Hotel Sinatur, Østerøvej 121, 5800 Nyborg, Denmark. The conference will bring together medical doctors, dietitians, health care professionals, and multidisciplinary researchers engaged in obesity research.

The annual Obesity Meeting will cover topics spanning from a new definition of obesity, new perspectives for the treatment of obesity, obesity and idiopathic intracranial hypertension, and guidelines for and patient perceptions of post bariatric hypoglycemia, to multidisciplinary lifestyle interventions for children with obesity. The meeting gives early career researchers the opportunity to present their research and all participants an opportunity to strengthen and expand their scientific network. Moreover, this year the “Flemming Quaade Prize for Outstanding Obesity Research” and the “Novo Nordisk Foundation Early Career Obesity Research Award” will be awarded for the first time.

Registration: Sign up here.  The deadline for registration is 25 September 2025. Early career researchers (PhD age <7 years) who have had an abstract accepted for the congress will have a reduced fee. The registration fee covers participation in the  annual obesity meeting including accommodation and all meals.

Upon submission, please indicate if you are an early career researcher. Also indicate whether you are participating in the educational day on obesity, the annual meeting or both.

Oral abstract presentation

The presentation should be no longer than 8 minutes long and it is important that you keep to time. All speakers are asked to include a COI statement as the second slide in their presentations. Presentations should be submitted to dsaf@dsaf.dk before the meeting.
